We have all watched Idols and cringed as contestants screech and embarrass themselves through songs. I often think "who told this poor person that they can actually sing?". Now browse around YouTube and click on a few of the homemade renditions of popular songs. These people too believe that they have marketable talent. The honest truth is that they don't.
But who encouraged them to embrace their inner Justin Bieber? Was it their parents?

This video of 13-year-old Rebecca singing about ridiculous "issues" like whether or not she should sit in the front or the back of car, is a case in point. Ark Music Factory targets parents trying to push their kids to fame. Read any of the articles available online (like this one) about Rebecca and you'll see she has become a laughing stock. How is that helpful to her self-esteem?
