What would Diana say about Harry?

What do you think Diana would say about Harry’s ‘crown jewels’ experience?

By now the whole of the civilised (and the not so civilised) world would have heard about or seen Prince Harry’s naked photos which were taken during a drunken game of strip pool in a Las Vegas hotel suite. All of that is fine in the bigger scheme of things I’d wager- we’ve all done something we’d rather the world did not know about, let alone our parents.

Don’t forget your parents!

What Harry or anyone else does is their business and I don’t want to harp on his issues. But what got me thinking was how I would react if one of my girls’ naked assets were spread across the internet or world press. How do parents deal with that? I suspect Charles being Charles would probably say something like, “Listen boy, I don’t have to remind you who you are, sure have you’re fun but bloody well make sure your security guards strip search them gals before they come to party with you. Now go and clean your penthouse suite.”

There are certain things that kids should not see after a certain age, these include their parents naked, or even their parents doing it, unless of course you’re nudists or hippies or something along those lines. I’d like to suggest that there are a few things that parents should never see about their kids after a certain age, unless their lives depended on you seeing it. And topping that list should be not having to see your little darling boy or girl’s naked ass wrapped around the loins of some arbitrary person while holding a pool cue? Am I wrong?

Go on, laugh, but put your little precious in Harry’s shoes? What do you do?

I guess in this particular incident no real harm was done and the British Royalty’s publicity stakes have increased even more. And I don’t really think we can police our kids 24/7. I know that as parents we’ve all done something on the wild side at some stage of our existence- things we’re probably glad our own parents never witnessed.

Imagining Diana

I wonder what Diana would have said to Harry… “Darling boy, how could you rub up against that silly tart, and did you scrub your willy afterwards, my boy? You never know what you can catch these days, and how could you forget to have their phones removed? Why can’t you be more like your brother William: at least he has the decency to allow me to accidently see his naughty photos of him and Kate on the palace intranet. I mean really, Harry!”

Let’s have some fun, gimme your best parental talk to Harry, assuming you were either Diana or Charles…
