Does your teen lie when texting you? Would you know if they were?
According to researchers people find it easier to lie in a text than in person because they don't feel as scrutinised.
So when your teen says that they have to study late or they're staying over at a best friend's house, are they lying? And when the average teen sends between 30 and 100 texts a day, that's a lot of opportunity to tell a fib or two.
It's no secret that more than 96% of teens lie to stay out trouble and will do just about anything to keep their lives private.
