As uncomfortable as many parents are discussing the subject of masturbation with their teen children, sometimes it’s just necessary. Not so much the mechanics of how and why, but the mess that can be left behind.

Take these parents whose note left in the bathroom to their son has gone viral on Reddit, according to Huffington Post:

Fed up of their son’s lack of consideration for others in his bathroom habits, his mom left a note for him:

“Please stop masturbating on the towels!
Clean up with a tissue or in the sink with soap and water
You were talked to about this once before, this is your final warning.
One more time and this bathroom will have Justin Bieber towels and My Little Pony Décor!”

It’s a little bit gross to think about, but something most teens will get up to, and you too may have to have that awkward discussion about hygiene and tidiness if the tissues start piling up under the bed…

Then again, snotty tissues are equally as gross, right?

Are you comfortable discussing masturbation with your child?
