We've found your new style icons

accreditation

When you think of someone famous for their fashion sense, you hardly think of someone under the age of 10. Most of us were dressed by our parents or guardians and sported fun graphic tees with our favourite cartoon characters on them. But there's a new wave of fashionable kids taking fashion publications and Instagram by storm. They hail all the way from Japan to Ireland and you may just find yourself being envious of their extensive wardrobes.

Here's a list of our favourite kiddie fashionistas:

8. @princeandthebaker

9-year old New Yorker, Princeton Cannon,  is better known as Mr P on Instagram. He began fashion blogging at the age of 5 and now has over 8,000 followers on the app. His Instagram is managed by him and his mother and you can find him modelling many adorable and fashion-forward looks. His favourite fashion item is a hat and you can see him wearing fedoras, panamas and flat caps in almost every photo. He describes his fashion style as a funky mix of bold colours and says Pharrell Williams is his ultimate fashion icon.

7. @kingandkaui

This brother and sister duo are the epitomy of Cali cool. With their oversized denim jackets and funky sunglasses, it's not hard to see why they've made the list. Their mother not only documents their #ootd to their 18,900 folllowers but their first milestones as well. Older brother Kingston is now in the second grade and little sister Kaui just started preschool. Their parents are co-owers of a children's store in LA that has gained popularity among many celebrity parents (just ask Kim Kardashian). Her fashion advice to dressing supercool kids is the following: a denim jacket, graphic tees and cool shades.

6. @miasaidno

Vada is only 4 years old but she already has an extensive amount of followers (20,000) and style. Her queer parents have raised her to challenge gender norms, inclusivity and race and gender inequality. She can be seen at women's marches and declaring that the future is female. With her blunt fringe and dark clothing, her look is distinct but still remains whimsical. She can sometimes be seen cuddling with her equally stylish baby brother, Nova, who is one and half years old.

The queen of faux fur jackets! Summer G, or better known as Sparkle to her 21,900 followers, is a 4-year-old girl from New Jersey. She not only poses in the streets of the East Coast wearing amazing outerwear but has a YouTube channel which documents some of her adventures. She is sassy and stylish and her big hair is as big as a personality.

4. @dancewithdirtyfeet

Birdie Farrell's style would be described as Adams Family meets My Chemical Romance. She's a bit of a rebel with her stick-on tattoos, dark clothing and Doc Martens. She lives in Ireland with her parents and six siblings and her mother owns an online kiddies clothing shop. While she may seem put together to her 33,300 followers on Instagram, her mother says that behind the lens, she's just like any other 5-year-old girl.

3. @stellaandblaise

With their blonde tightly curled afros and big smiles, it's not hard to see why siblings Stella and Blaise have 61,700 thousand followers on Instagram. They have modelled for large companies such as H&M kids, Converse and Tommy Hilfiger. Their bright, laidback and fun looks make you wish you could still wear tutus and bold prints every day.

2. @zooeyinthecity

5-year-old Zooey Miyoshi lives between LA and Tokyo. Her mother is a prominent figure in the Tokyo party scene and this helped catapult Zooey's career at just 4 months old! Her father is one of her fashion influences and she can now be found on her Instagram matching with her baby sister Amelia. Her mother manages both her Instagram and her fashion blog.

At just 7-years-old, Coco has been featured in Vice, Vogue and Elle and her 452,000 followers keep increasing. She hails from Harajuku, in Japan which is the capital of Japanese fashion. Her parents opened a vintage store called Funkique after moving to Harajuku because of the Fukushima earthquake in 2011. Coco's currently obsessed with the colour purple, and she's in luck because ultra violet was named the 2018 colour of the year. She enjoys getting new followers on Instagram and feeding the fish at her local lake. In an interview with Vice, her mother claims that Coco's fame and style is unknown among her peers.
