DA leader John Steenhuisen did not mince words when he addressed a Workers' Day demonstration on Wednesday about the realities of South Africa's unemployment rate.
He pointed out that, despite the country's hard won liberation, the unemployment rate had risen from 20% to more than 32% under the ANC's reign, leaving millions without work or hope.
Steenhuisen said this in Lentegeur in the Western Cape, on Wednesday, to shine a light on South Africa's rising unemployment rate.
