During the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, Mama Zanele Mbeki’s International Women’s Forum SA (IWFSA) lamented the plight of women whom the organisation says are held back by outdated laws that hinder the fairer sex’s progress.

This was one of the talking points at the IWFSA’s Women Economic Justice leadership recognition awards held in Sandton on 6 December.
