Don't worry, your Valentine's Day gift ideas can't be as bad as this husband's

accreditation

With Valentine’s Day just a few short days away, are you scrambling around trying to find the perfect gift for your partner? God forbid you get something that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket or lacks the right amount of sentimental value. A slab instead of an overpriced heart-shaped box of chocolates? And what do you mean they’re sold out of red so you bought yellow roses instead? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

But let’s face it. Kids have pretty much taken up all the time we used to spend on Pinterest searching “Valentine’s Day gifts for him” and browsing online jewellery catalogues.

And even when we do get a moment to spoil ourselves and our partners, we don’t always get it right. The hilarious Eh Bee family knows exactly what we’re talking about, playing Sarah McLachlan’s I Will Remember You every time this clueless husband buys his wife a terrible gift.

Was that an apron with a pen drawing of the Swarovski logo?

They’ve made a few other videos which all end in the same way, showing just how difficult it is to plan the perfect Valentine's Day – or how easy it is to say the wrong thing.

How will you be spending Valentine’s Day this year and what will you get your partner to show them how much they mean to you? Do you celebrate Valentine's Day at all? Do you go on regular date nights instead? Or hold out for your anniversary? Tell us by commenting below or emailing chatback@parent24.com and we may publish your comments.
