The Gauteng Education department has shared on their social media that parents will be able to make late online admissions for schools in Gauteng from the 15th of January.
But hurry, the department will close again on 24 January.
This follows after the MEC of Education in Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi was placed under pressure by a lack of placements for thousands of children.
Parents reached out to Parent24 to express their frustration, and shared their stories all over social media.

The Gauteng Department of Education has said they anticipate high volumes of entries, but will ensure that placements occur without delay.
