In an unanimous decision, the Electoral Court dismissed the ANC's application against the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party in which it alleged the registration of the Jacob Zuma-led party was unlawful due to fraudulent signatures in its initial application.
This means the MK Party is still registered with the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) and will now focus its attention on the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban on Wednesday where it faces another legal challenge from the ANC.
This time, for its use of a logo resembling the ANC's former armed wing.
