ANC Johannesburg councillor and chief whip Sthembiso Zungu, a survivor of the tragic Zakariyya Park shooting, said he was struggling emotionally when he saw the alleged killers in court on Monday.

Despite the trauma following the attack, Zungu said he refused to live his life in fear.

"I believe that everyone is going to die one day so I can't live my life in fear. I take it as it comes.
