The recipe behind Forte High School's continued success includes completing the syllabus before June, dividing children according to their strengths and weaknesses, and repeated mock tests.
Mukosi Leonard Mudavhi, who heads the school of 2 110 pupils across all grades, told News24 that he was not intimidated by the high number of matrics at the school - almost 300.
The school has obtained a pass rate of more than 90% for the past eight years. It falls under the Johannesburg West district, which was crowned the top-performing education district in the country on Thursday night.
