Your teenager might have a good excuse for doing less chores

We chat to educational psychologist, Anel Annandale and Parent24 editor, Scott Dunlop about why teenagers actually have a good excuse do less chores. Watch the video above.

Parents in SA might not need help getting their children to do chores, because Parent24's Kid's Nation Survey found that 75% of children in SA are doing chores at home. Annandale tells us why this is great for the development of the children.

As children get older, and become teenagers, Annandale says they have much less energy and more things to focus on such as school and extra-curricular activities. She tells us how we can motivate our teens to help out around the house.
