Growing up all I ever wanted to do was pack my bags and make my way to platform nine and three-quarters, before putting on the sorting hat to live out my days in red and yellow.
But the closest I’ve gotten to being sorted into Gryffindor is an online quiz.
While I patiently wait for my letter from Hogwarts, I wouldn’t mind going to Walden Grove High School though.
The Arizona high school’s Performing Arts Crew recently performed a Harry Potter-inspired dance for homecoming assembly and the video has gone viral. And we totally get why.

The video that details Harry’s entire journey from below the staircase to his epic battle and defeat of Lord Voldemort, has since been viewed over 5 million times on YouTube. It’s been choreographed and produced by their coach, Kristi Lopez, who pairs soundbites from the film with contemporary hits. So it was particularly interesting to see Voldemort lead a dance crew through Nicki Minaj’s Chun Li.
This isn’t the first time PAC’s gone viral though. Last year they performed a Wizard of Oz-inspired dance in the school auditorium and even made it onto America’s Got Talent.
While they didn’t win America’s Got Talent, from where we’re standing it seems every time they’re given the platform to dance, something magical happens.
All we really want to know is if applications are still open for 2019? And do we send it by post or organise ourselves an owl?
