WATCH | The unexpected way Katy Perry is preparing for motherhood

When it comes to parenting advice, Katy Perry is keeping it in the family. 

Along with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, and his son Flynn, Katy is reportedly also spending time in isolation with her brother, David and his child.

The singer's sister, Angela, also lives nearby with her children.  

"We pair up with them a lot because the kids like to play, we have two small houses that are next door to each other, and my nieces will come and wake me up at eight o'clock in the morning and ask if the baby is here yet. It's very sweet," Perry said in an interview. 

In addition to getting parenting advice from her siblings, Katy shared that Miranda Kerr, her fiancé's ex-wife is another confidant she turns to as she prepares for motherhood. 

"She's got three boys, so I ask her for all the tips."
