'We don't have time on our side… But we are ready': Sundowns soldier on in challenging week

Mamelodi Sundowns started their most challenging week of the season on a sombre note, adding to the double disappointment of failing to get the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and the Bulls to support them on their game of national importance. 

When the Brazilians landed back in the country from Tunisia in the early hours of Monday morning, they were greeted with the news that their stadium announcer, Peter "Mashata" Mabuse, had tragically been murdered on Sunday morning. 

Mabuse – a staunch Sundowns supporter, comedian, radio personality as well as popular DJ in Pretoria – was gunned down in Soshanguve.
