Did you know?

This can be as quick and easy to make as shop-bought baby rice, but is much healthier. Add it to any fruit or vegetable purées to add some tummy filling, slow release carbohydrate to your baby’s meals.

For babies 6 - 9 months old, start with tiny tastes of simple vegetable and fruit purées – just a teaspoon or two at lunch. Then, when you’re sure your baby is not allergic to anything, you can start mixing and matching.

This low-GI brown rice puree is a good, healthy way to introduce carbohydrates into your baby's diet.
