Popular baby product recalled
Fisher-Price recalls ‘Rock ‘N Play Sleeper’ seats for health reasons.
Baby product manufacturing giants Fisher-Price have issued a recall for approximately 800 000 'Rock 'N Play' baby recliners after discovering that use of the popular seat could result in exposure to harmful mold.

Bad for baby’s chest

If the product is not properly cleaned and dried, mold can develop between the seat cushion and frame, according to HuffPost. Over 600 of the seats have already been reported to have developed mold, and 16 infants have received treatment for related ailments as a result, ranging from respiratory ailments to coughs and hives, Fisher-Price has reported.

The recall includes the warning that owners of the seats should check under the removable cushion for dark spots (grey, brown or black) which would indicate the presence of mold, and, should this be found, that the seats should not be used and that Fisher-Price should be contacted for further information.

Do you know anyone who has used the Rock ‘N Play baby recliner seat?
