Breastfeeding is a choice
No one can force you to breastfeed your baby, but some claim that it's the only way it should be done.
There are so many debates surrounding breastfeeding. Some mothers say it's the only way that you can ever really bond with your baby.
Other moms, who can't breastfeed, claim that they have just as special a bond as any other mom. Then there are some mothers who won't even let a newborn near their precious boobs.

Here are a few stories that Parent24 has on the touchy subject of breastfeeding.

To breastfeed...

Some mothers just love to breastfeed. There are no two ways about it. The bond, the closeness of having your baby drawing what it needs from your body. There are even mothers that will breastfeed their adopted children to try and build that bond.

Breastfeeding, it should be noted, takes guts. Especially if you're doing so in public!

Doctors have stated that breastfeeding is the absolute best thing to do for your baby. There are many advantages and even if it's not easy you should soldier on forward until it works.

...Or not to breastfeed

Many mothers would beg to differ. And so would some dads!

There are mothers unfortunately that can't breastfeed and have to deal with breast refusal. There are also mothers who would rather avoid the sore nipples and womb clenches all together.

At the end of the day though, the choice to breastfeed should be left completely up to you.
