The Madonna position
This position allows you to cradle your baby while breastfeeding.
Baby lies in the crook of your arm supported on a pillow in the standard ‘Madonna’ position. Your other hand is free to support your breast or cradle your baby. You will lean forward slightly when feeding in this position, so for greater comfort raise your feet up on a low stool and prop a pillow behind your back.
