A mom with 40KK breasts is desperate to undergo breast reduction surgery after fears that she might suffocate her baby while breastfeeding.

Danielle Matier has battled with her ever-growing bust since she was just 11 years old. The 31-year-old, from Derby in the UK, has watched them grow from a B- to a KK-cup.

Not only does it cause her severe neck and back pain, she also struggled to breastfeed her son, Jack, in case her breasts – which covered his face when she tried to feed him – would suffocate him.

"Throughout my pregnancy, I was adamant that I wanted to breastfeed but the size of my breasts ruined it,” says Danielle.

"My son wouldn't latch on and the top part of my breast would completely cover his face and I was petrified I was going to suffocate him.

"It broke my heart not being able to breastfeed my child and it was the thing that made me know I needed surgery.”

Danielle has another daughter, Willow who she was able to breastfeed for two weeks.

The mom-of-two, who has already tried losing weight to shrink her breast size, set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for breast reduction surgery – where she hopes to reduce her breasts by 11 sizes.

When Danielle was 15 years old and already a G-cup, she battled with excruciating back pain due to the excessive weight of her breasts. The mom admits that she received negative attention from peers which had an impact on her self-confidence.

"I've always been big chested ever since I was little – and it brought a lot of negative attention at school.

"I was a normal weight, it was just my breasts that were really big and gave me the self-esteem issues,” she says.

Danielle was lucky enough to meet her husband, Mark, when she was just 16 years old.

"I definitely wouldn't have had the self-confidence to date in later years.

"Even now I get people making rude comments about the size of my breasts.

"When I met Mark, that's when I knew I wanted to have surgery because my chest was affecting me both physically and mentally,” she says.

Despite her struggles as a child, Danielle was mostly affected by the size of her breasts when she gave birth to her son Jack, who’s now six.

"While I was pregnant my boobs were still growing, at one point they were so big that I burst out of my KK nursing bra.

"Before Jack was born I didn't even buy any bottles because I was sure I would be breastfeeding him.

"But after two days of trying to get him to latch on, I had to give up because he was getting dehydrated, and we turned to bottles,” she says.

She hopes to raise the necessary funds for her to undergo breast reduction surgery.

"In the UK it's roughly £6 500 (R120 600) for the breast reduction surgery but going abroad it's only half the amount.

"I would prefer to get them done in the UK, as there are more risks when you're abroad, but I'm so desperate now that I'll have surgery wherever.

"These are the risks that I'm willing to take to get my breasts smaller as soon as possible,” she says.

Danielle says she desperately wants to live a normal life.

"I'm not nervous about surgery, as I've wanted it for so many years. I just want my life back."
