DIY: Comeback toy

accreditation

You’ll need:

  • A round can with lid
  • A thick strong rubber band
  • An old battery or heavy metal nut
  • Two sucker sticks
  • Tape
  • Nail or pencil

Make a hole in the bottom and top of the carton. You can punch the hole with a pencil or a nail
Push the rubber band through the bottom hole, then slip a stick through the loop to hold the stick securely in place.

Put your hand into the box and tape or tie on the heavy item. Then push the other end of the rubber band through the hold in the lid.

Secure the rubber band with the other stick then put on the lid taping it shut.

Now roll the toy away from baby and watch her delight as it comes back again.
