Baby loves her pet python
Snake-loving dad tries to prove that snakes are great family pets, even for babies. [VIDEO]
Exotic pets aren’t for everyone. Some people have a deep-seated fear of creatures such as snakes or spiders, but, for others, snakes provide an opportunity for a fascinating family pet experience. Snake handler Jamie Guarino has released a video aimed at lifting the myths on snakes as family pets for this very reason.

It’s a little jarring to see his baby daughter Alyssa wrapped in the coils of their 2.5 metre Burmese python, Nay-Nay, until you realise that the child is as happy and carefree as if she was playing with a Barney doll.

Jamie insists that snakes are loving family pets, and he aims to open an exotic creature park with his daughters, but he has faced criticism from some quarters about his choice in pets.
