The book follows the adventures of Robert the Rabbit who tries to fall asleep with the help of his mom, the Heavy-Eyed Owl, Uncle Yawn and Sleep the Snail. His friends give him advice like "think slowly, breathe slowly and calm, slow and calm" and others such as "let your whole body be heavy, so heavy it feels like it falls... just like a leaf, that falls down, slowly down, down..." With words like these it's no wonder the book has kids falling asleep so easily!
