Drink in the goodness
Real strawberries blended up to make a smoothie is more than just oh so yummy.
Smoothies are an amazing example of loving deception. You can whizz up colourful berries, mixed with full-cream milk, blend finely as the little munchkins hate ‘bits’.

Add a tiny touch of ginger and a shake of almonds and abracadabra, and you’ve got an anti-oxidant super-food milkshake!

They won’t suspect a thing. Bless.

Strawberry Smoothie

1 punnet strawberries/raspberries/youngberries
1 small piece of ginger, the size of your thumb nail
500ml full-cream milk
A small handful of almonds

Wash the strawberries and pull off the green tips. Peel the ginger. Blend all the ingredients to a smooth consistency.

Yum! What could be better!
