Once again, the utter madness that is Toddlers & Tiaras has brought us another shocker.
First off, I'm not a fan of what these parents put their little girls through. The fake nails, false eye lashes, bum and breast enhancements and getting the kids hopped on pixie sticks and "special juice" - it all just seems like child abuse to me. Especially when these kids are crying and kicking up a fuss about not wanting to be there.
While being horrified/fascinated by a recent Toddlers & Tiaras episode, a mother casually mentioned how her 15-month-old daughter gets spray tanned. SPRAY TAN for a baby? Not only is this plain crazy, but it's dangerous for these little people with such soft and sensitive skin.
What's even worse is that Samijo Grace is not the only one. While searching through the TLC Toddlers & Tiaras website, spray tanning seems to be a normal thing for these children. And most of them are under 5 years old!
The entire concept of these beauty pageants turns my stomach. The saying "paraded like prize cows" comes to mind. Come on, America - for a country that loves it's rights, I can't believe nothing has been done about this.
Don't believe me when I say it's insane? Take a look at this blog post of frightening GIFs.
What do you think? Is spray tanning young children okay with you?
