WATCH: Teenage boy catches toddler falling from a second-floor window

We shudder to think what may have happened if 17-year-old, Feuzi Zabaat, had not noticed the 2-year-old Dora Muhammed playing dangerously close to an open window on the second floor of an apartment building in Istanbul, Turkey. 

The teen had been on his way home from work when he spotted the toddler and quickly moved himself into place to catch the falling girl. 

CCTV captured the incredible moment. 

"I was just walking in the road when I saw the little girl at the window. She fell, and thanks to God, I caught her before she hit the ground," he said via AFP. 

According to reports, the young girl's mom was cooking and had not been aware of her daughter's close call, and luckily the tot did not sustain any injuries.

Feuzi was rewarded with 200 Turkish Liras (around R500) by the grateful family.
