Hospital kids in moving masterpiece
Watch these patients and their caregivers mime to Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’.
I couldn’t watch this the whole way through the first time I saw it: An incredibly moving video created by long-term patients and the people who spend all their energy looking after them at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (US).

The quietest ROAR!

As points out, the stars of the video are involved in daily battles for survival, and watching them mime to Katy Perry’s pop anthem ‘Roar’ will mean that you never hear the song in quite the same way again.

According to Yahoo! Katy Perry had asked schools to send in their best lip-synched versions of her song- the best one would win a special concert with the hit artist.

But for the kids in CHaD, school is often the least of their worries. Some have spent more time recently in hospital wards than classrooms, but that doesn’t mean they don’t love music and thrive on inspiration.

The wonderfully upbeat song will make you air-punch the sky even if you have a small tear in the corner of your eye at the same time.

Can you make it through this without crying?
