Growing up I was always more excited about the idea of going to the movies than anything else.
With my blue slushie, kids popcorn and astros, I got excited about the princesses, adventures and happily-ever-afters, but didn't really pay much attention to what the characters were actually saying.
Now, years later, as an adult, I can tell you I've never related to anything more.
See, growing up we were taught to always be ourselves, even when we didn’t feel like we were who we wanted to be.
We were taught to work hard and reach for the stars.
And to never look back or give up, even when life got hard.
Because we can make all the difference if we just believe in ourselves.
And at the end of the day, when everything’s been said and done, we can find comfort in knowing that we are never ever alone.
