Kids vs Food: Sushi

Sushi is definitely an acquired taste. I had my first taste when I was about 20 years old, it was a salmon California roll. I chewed it and promptly spat it back out. I was not a fan! To this day I still only eat prawn sushi because it's cooked and I might be tempted to try something with seared tuna.

So I would not imagine that children, who can be the pickiest of eaters would like it. Of course, you do get kids who love sushi, but I suspect they might be kids who don't have any food niggles to begin with.

In episode 15 of their Kids vs Food series, theFine Bros have the kids try and react to sushi. From the regular tuna to sushi topped with salmon roe and salty mackerel. See how they react:
