South Africa is still riding high after the tremendous World Cup win this past weekend with the Bokke receiving a well-deserved homecoming yesterday.

“We did this for all South Africans - ordinary people who work tirelessly all day long to care for their families and friends and ultimately make our wonderful country an even better place," Springbok captain Siya Kolisi told the thousands gathered at OR Tambo International Airport.

Undoubtedly, South Africans of all shapes and sizes will continue to bask in World Cup glory for weeks to come, and the only thing that beats that are these adorable drawings by the Grade 1's at St. Cyprian's School in Cape Town.

See for yourself:

We couldn't get enough of the pictures posted by Garth Manthé‏ via Twitter, so we got in touch with him for the backstory.

"My fiancé, Rachel Cooper is a Grade 1 teacher at St. Cyprian's School in Cape Town and the girls in her class created those wonderful weekend recaps that I posted on Twitter," Garth told Parent24 via email.

"The school celebrated Bok Friday the day before the Rugby World Cup Final, and when they returned to school on Monday, Rachel asked her girls each to write about their memories/experiences from the weekend."

Clearly, scrumhalf Faf de Klerk made quite the impression!
