Have you heard of E-Jump Fuji? They’re a team of primary school students in Fuji, Japan, who have just broken the Guinness World Record title for the most skips over a single rope in one minute by a team.
Guinness World Records reports that 12 skippers, in a figure-eight arrangement, swiftly hopped through the fast-spinning rope held by two of their team members, and managed to complete a total of 230 skips in what appears to be just over a minute. Watch their record-breaking routine below.

Naoyuki Nishizawa, chairman of the Fuji Municipal Rope Skipping Association, commented, “By attempting to break a Guinness World Records title with one of the team’s best tricks (the figure-eight routine), I wanted the members to understand the importance of setting a goal and working towards it.”
He continues, “I hope that through this challenge, they realise that nothing is impossible.”

We initially saw the story shared on a local Facebook page, Mzansi Memes, and were completely blown away by the perfectly timed and precise jumps. Many South Africans also commented on the video which, in itself, was pretty entertaining:
“Private school skipping” – Ah, gotta love South Africa.
