In front of an audience during a Gala event in the Biden Cathedral, Teo Gertler performed one of the most difficult concertos remarkably.

Teo is like most 11-year-olds. He is quite gabby and likes to play.

But place a violin under his chin and he will take you on a musical journey which will leave you with chills down your spine.

The boy was just 3 years old when he started playing the violin.

To master his violin skills he practices every day for four hours. He has also started taking part in master classes which exposes him to top teachers to develop his talent.

Like most people his conductor says he is impressed with the boy's musicality, because it is not what you would expect from an 11-year-old. "He really is a child prodigy," he adds.

Teo plays the concerto, which is the most difficult musical composition for soloists, with "delicacy".

His parents say despite the high expectations from him, they still want him to have a normal childhood.
