Each stage of my children's lives are trying, but I've enjoyed it all.
Having a 2, 8 and 9 year old, you can really see the difference in all stages of their lives.
My 2 year old is demanding of things (now!), but as soon as you do it, it is all forgotten and we move on.
My 8 and 9 year old is not as demanding, they have patience, but they seem to have a memory of who long mom makes them wait, so they guilt me easily.
Amazing how you wish you could move onto the next stage, only to want to have to go back.
You wish independence on them, and the more independence they have, the more headaches they cause.
