Forgiving the silly

This very morning Erin and I were having our usual pointless energy wasting banter about nothing else but getting ready and out of the house on time … I was suddenly 11 and engaging her in her “you’re mean” and “stop rushing me” … I walked out and said “see you in the car in five minutes!”

When we arrived at school and got out of car, she got her bag out of the boot and came up to me and said “goodbye mommy” and hugged me!!!!

Well, that made my day.
