Kids online

My 11year old is on BBM too, he doesn't really browse on his phone much only uses google for school projects. But lately his been registering for newsletters of 'game networks' (where I was present) which means he will be more active on the net.

I've been teaching him about internet safety. I'm also going through his contact list on BBM to check who his friends are (not reading his messages... lol), going through his emails & checking website activities. I use to do all this during the day when his at school but now its anytime because his aware of internet safety, he knows now I'm doing it for his safety and his fine with it.

I don't want him to think I don't trust him because I do but you get some really disturbed people out there!
