We have a deal in our house, we don't tell lies to each other and we don't break promises!
Life is tough enough for kids nowadays, they have so much pressure on them, at school and from friends and I believe just like my mother before me that children need stability, the need to know that there is one thing in life that they can rely on and in our house it is that we never lie to them; yes; it is difficult sometimes and you have to tread carefully not to go over the line and give them an overload of information that they may not be able to handle, but if you treat your children with the respect they deserve then they will treat you in the same way!
