Many moms

This day is such a hectic one for me as I have a number of individuals who have been and still are like my mom. My mom passed away in 2005 but every on mothers’ day my brother and I wake up very early (5am) and drive to the graveyard. We buy flowers but first we clean the graveyard of any grass and dirt around it – say our prayers and sort of update my mom on our lives. Then we place the flowers in her tombstone.

After that I go to my aunts place to wish her a happy mothers day and surprise her with a gift. Then I go to my partners’ place to wish his mom (grandmother to our 3 year old daughter) a happy mother’s day, give her a gift as well.

It fulfills me to see them appreciating whatever I bring.
