My favourite Mother's Day gift

I was spoilt this Mother’s day; perfume, a subscription to my favourite magazine, but the best gift I got was the hand written card from my children. Those are the gifts I will keep forever and that mean the most.

Words of love and appreciation mean so much more than material things (don’t tell my husband that!). We lead such busy lives and often don’t take the time to say thank you, so it was just very special to me that my teenage children took the time to say that they love me and appreciate everything I do.
