I was 24 weeks and had a C-section due to high blood. My liitle girl weighed 700 grams, she was in hospital for 3 months, been on oxygen for 75 days, It was a huge battle, I never thought that I was going to make it.
I went back to work when she was 12 days old, because I haven’t applied for any leave, and I was told that I wouldn’t get paid. So everyday after work I would go to the hospital and spend time with her, at times I gave up, and wouldn’t go see her. One Sunday the doctor called me and told me that we should get a pastor to come and pray for her, because she will not make it, she lost weight and was now at 500grams. Doctor told me that she had holes in her brain, and she will not be able to use her arms and legs or even be able to sit up.
I got the pastor over, he prayed for her and she was dedicated as well. Two weeks after that she was still there, so I had to make arrangements at work to go on my maternity leave, because I realized that she was a real fighter, I called her Taneesha Tyalla, she is a real blessing. She is kicking and screaming and rolling, I sometimes forget that she is a preemie.
She is 7 months old now, still very small, but she does everything that a normal baby does. Never give up when having a Preemie, they just scaring us, and believe that God has a purpose for that child’s life.
I love her very much and I thank God everyday for her life
