Never "too busy" for my boys

I'm 32 years old and a mother of two very active little boys, Keenan turned two in May 2008 and Corban turned one in July 2008. My hubby sometimes feels I'm wrong - but I am never "too busy" for my boys. Sometimes I think it' because I feel quilty that I work a full time job and send them both to crèche, but honestly it's because I really don't have anything more important to do. I stand my ground when I'm feeding one or the other, or changing a nappy etc, then the other one must wait until mommy is finished. But other than that, the washing, cleaning and ironing gets done once the boys are tucked up for the night. We do however manage to get dinner made or at least started by the time my husband gets home from work.

I do have a domestic working every Saturday, who is my "evening star", I would not be able to spend the quality time during the week with my boys that I do, if I did not know that Alice was coming every Saturday. Which is not to say that my house is a complete mess either, the boys think it's great when we get out the brooms and buckets to sweep floors and wash window, okay, maybe we make more mess than with what we started with, but every bit helps right? We make beds and clean up each evening after playing in the play room, we put bikes back in the garage, and they are even great at washing bottles (which I redo when they are not looking, would hate to think that they are not doing a "good" job). As Corban gets older and stronger, the boys are now starting to spend more time entertaining each other, which does allow me to do the few odds and ends, while watching from the kitchen window.
