This letter is in response to 'This is our adoption story' written by Fay.

Thank your for the wonderful story from Fay - and I would like to send my congratulations to her.
We too adopted through Cape Town Child Welfare, our waiting time was 7 years (it was a very loooong wait indeed) but God had His own timing - we finally adopted twins (who are now teenagers) and we can't imagine life without them.
We applied in 1993 and at the time the waiting list had closed due to amount of people waiting on the list - by the time we finally got to adopt our babies, we were one of the last couples waiting for a 'white' only baby and as a couple with no kids at all
The experience was long one but well worth the wait.
