What one does not realise is that parenting is expensive full stop. And it seems to get higher as their education needs increase! It’s an ongoing expense that keeps you on your toes for any specials that might pop up.
Right now we have a pre-schooler and I would have to say that the most expensive thing at the moment is actually a combination of several things.
After school activities!
And these are all per term. It adds up to more than her school fees. But she loves it and is very good at it so we just keep going.

- Ballet - R700
