Scary friends

My son has a friend, B, (who happens to be our next door neighbour) who gets the better of me (most of the time).
 
My son loves all animals and since being friends with B, he has become scared of ants, spiders etc.
 
I overheard B tell him one day that some ants bite and once it even bit his cousins arm off.... my son is very impressionable and believes all B tells him. Now, whenever he sees an ant he as a screaming fit.
 
Adele, you have problems with a kid not wanting to eat at your home, how bout a child who never goes home and eats there everyday all day. His mom only fetches him after dark.... we've already had supper by then and I cannot give my son food and let B stay hungry...
