According to the Bible parents are told to spank the ones (kids) they love. Do not spare the rod and spoil the child.
As a child I had many good spankings. I am still here. It has hurt my bums, but it opened my ears. My parents informed me the reason for my spanking and they explained it was for my own good!
As people we need to get back to God and His word (The Bible). Without God and His word we will have no direction or discipline.
