My kids are amazing J as most are im sure….
Firstly…I simply love hand made cards J
My 8yr old, Kirstin is such a little mommy! She usually gets the little one, Josh, who is 2 to help with a birthday card. These cards usually have the foot or hand prints on it. Sometimes when Kirstin is in the “mood” she will allow Josh to use of her very prized possessions…her stickers,lol.
I get flowers picked from the garden, then put into one of my champagne glasses, eek! Now that she is older, I also get toast and juice, mmm. Such a spoilt mommy I am! I get the whole deal though…lettuce, cheese, ham and mayo J
Josh then gets his guitar out and mumbles some happy birthday song…cutest thing ever. Kirst is more “grown up”, so I get a kiss a hug and usually a speech…..the last speech went something like this:
Mommy, I love you soooo much and you are the bestest mommy in the world! (love it) I asked Jesus to give you another baby for your birthday (oh nooooooo, 3 is totally enough) This time I asked for another boy.
So I cringe and try to smile and say “thanks Kirst”….and she bursts out laughing saying, you know Jesus listens to my prayers hey mommy?!
(OMW!!!!! Madison arrived this year 23/03/2011, and she is beautiful and amazing but I do not want anymore kids and yes…Kirst prayed for a boy and we got Josh, then she prayed for a girl and we were blessed with little Madi. Needless to say I had my self “done” on the 25 October, lol)
So…my birthdays are always very special…and later the day I usually get spoilt with pressies they chose with Daddy J J Kisrt is also a little entrepreneur….I get a foot massage for FREE, but warned that its only free because its my birthday.
