The best advice

When my twins were born my eldest was seven years old and we had settled into such a wonderful routine! My house was tidy, I could do my work and still find time for gardening etc, then came the twins and all of that was thrown asunder! I wanted to have things the way it were: my house always neat and tidy, my work done on time and everything running to schedule, I was making myself and my family, including my wonderful husband and older child nervous wrecks until a friend came to visit! She told me that I have to learn to let go; to just pull an untidy rooms door closed, to rest when the twins are sleeping whenever possible and to learn to accept help from those who offered and to STOP TRYING TO BE SUPER MOM!
 
Those were the best words of advise that could be given to any mom and today I pass them on when I meet somebody who is driving herself to destruction the way I was doing.
