The burden of too much choice

I view it more as a burden.  Not only that, I feel they don't have an opportunity to get really bored and find something interesting to make or do that requires some thinking.  Also, when do they have time to laze around and daydream? I can remember school holidays in my younger days where each day we had no plans, no organized activities and I can remember laying on the field behind our backyard daydreaming or building a cart with friends, playing cowboys and crooks...  The list is endless.  And we did not even have a TV!! This always shocks my kids (lol).

Might sound silly but there is just way to much for them to do at their fingertips. Not often lots of thinking (if any) required.
