Trying (hard) to fall pregnant

This letter was sent in response to The 2-week wait.

You say that every month you becoming more aware of your body, and I can relate.

We have been trying to conceive for almost a year now. I am currently on fertility drugs and trust me I know exactly what is happening with my body.

Every day I take my temperature and therefore I know I'm closer to the end of my cycle and if I will start just by looking at the temperature reading. It’s amazing how our bodies can tell us so much (temperature related) yet so little (not knowing what the reason is for us not being able to conceive within a year).

We have done all the tests and everything is normal, yet we're still on the drugs and trying every month.

This is indeed the longest 12 months I have ever experienced... Yet I will keep trying till I get the baby dust sprinkled on us.

Good luck and know that you are not alone in trying to conceive.

Berdine
