Explore career options at the free Student Expo!

accreditation

Cradlestone Mall will be hosting the first 2017 Student Expo on 10 and 11 February. The Student Expo is designed to provide both current and prospective students with the necessary tools to succeed in finding tertiary education as well as guide them towards a suitable working career.

The Student Expo is South Africa’s only exhibition that is designed to provide current and prospective students with the necessary tools to succeed in tertiary education and beyond. The topics covered range from student loans, accommodation and transport to tertiary institutions, bursaries and job opportunities.

The Student Expo targets more than 1,000 private and government students. Prospective students will be able to meet with representatives at the expo from a wide range of universities, FET colleges and other tertiary institutions, to determine which school and program best meets their needs.

Learners will also gain insight and career advice from leading field specialists to better understand the expectations and roles of their potential professions.

Prospective students can also learn how to secure student loans. They will get advice on how to manage finances when living away from home, should you take a gap year or not as well as share information with other school leavers and parents.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to get a head start on your future!

Best of all, entrance is FREE.

Student Expo South Africa 2017

From the organisers:

"We like to invite all school groups to join us for 1 to 1.5 hours at our Student Expo. We organise speakers from outside and run you though the institutions at our High Flyers Power Hour. We normally sit your school group down for 30-40 minutes to listen to different presentations from institutions and motivational speakers. Below you find the High Flyers Power Hour schedule, which is subject to change as we alter it for the different school groups.

"High Flyers Power Hour starts at 9am and ends at 3pm. Industry representatives get to speak for 5-10 minutes. Please note, we do not stick to the program, but run though all the different industries when we sit a school group down!"
